What a great day it was today! Ms Rich (our new gifted teacher) and I started collaborating on the library makerspace. When we met, we both shared the same passion for making and creating. We brainstormed about a lot of different things students can come to the library and make! I don't want to give it all away in this post, but we have some really fun ideas so stay tuned!! Keep in mind that a makerspace is not really a specific thing that has to be done a certain way in a special place. A makerspace is more like a concept...space to make stuff...you can make anything...anything at all..anything you can think of is something you can make in a makerspace which is why we are planning on having lots of different material available for the kiddos. Just for fun, check out this circuit sticker website and learn all about the fun things you can make! https://www.crowdsupply.com/chibitronics/circuit-stickers
